4 New Bath Bombs!

I know I've been a bit MIA but here is an update with 4 new bath bombs!

Drakkar (matches my Vancouver Hockey soap)

Abercrombie & Fitch Type

Monkey Love

And Root Beer Float!

All of these were inspired by a customer who was looking for scents that her son would enjoy. Who says Bath Bombs are just for women?!

Greener Grass

The question I've been asking myself a lot lately is "Is the grass really greener on the other side?". I think we all develop these expectations (sometimes unrealistic) through the media and internet or even other people, and it leaves us constantly wondering. But all that time spent looking for tomorrow, and what's next and what could be, what's happening right now? Are we all wishing away today thinking there's something better and greater just around the corner? Are we taking the time to appreciate everything in our present lives or are we just taking it all for granted?

Take what you have right now and turn it into something big and great and accept that it's not always going to be easy. Life is not easy. Look at the whole picture, the really BIG picture of life and figure out what you want to get out of it and who will help you get there. Listen to what's on the inside and forget about everyone else and what they will think. Don't compare yourself to others and don't allow someone else's greatness to cast a shadow over yours; You ARE great, and the grass can be green wherever you water it.

Be happy, healthy and confident. Don't take life too seriously and make sure to stop and have a little fun in between your responsibilities.

And lastly, always remember this.

Baby Boy

In the next 6 weeks I am going to become an aunt! This weekend was my sister's baby shower and I made these cute little soap favours for everyone.

There was a lion, hippo, giraffe and elephant! How cute are they!? I will eventually make them regular stock as christmas is coming (yes, I just said that!) and they'd be great stocking stuffers!

Fall for Fall

I've been majorly slacking on soap lately due to some other things going on in life, but I did introduce 2 new soaps to the shop for Fall!

Pumpkin Cheesecake with a dash of Cinnamon

And Red Hot Cinnamon!

It's hard to think Fall with all this beautiful 30 degree weather we're having though...   But, I guess I'll live :)

New Photo Style

My shop is a total mess right now as I'm slowly switching out all the old photos for new ones. These are what the new ones look like:

Each season I'll switch the photos to ones with props representing the season. I have 3 different props for each and I take all the photos at once so it's easy to change them out in a few months. Next I will work on making 4 seasonal shop banners so that everything is festive and matching! I can't wait to see it all finished because right now.. I got about 75 products to go!

(And do you see the consistant background colour? Thanks portable photo studio!)
