Etsy Purchases

I got two etsy purchases in the mail this week (and have one more very special one coming enroute from Cape Town!) so I wanted to share because I love them so much!

First I got 2 leather bracelets from flourishleather.

I chose Carrot Orange and Pewter.

They are so cute and such a great value at only $5.00 per bracelet. I love any bracelet that has a snap closure, but the best part is that these fit my small wrists perfectly!

My next purchase was a pair of earrings from botny.

I ordered earrings in Shimmering Lacey Beige.

I don't normally wear earrings because my ears are so fussy, but I haven't had a problem with these as they are mounted on surgical stainless steel. They are super cute and I loved the packaging that they came in. I definitely have my eye on a few other pairs in her store and at only $10-$12 for a pair I think they're a steal!

Bulk Bath Bombs

Hi! Just a quick update about my new bulk bath bomb listings on etsy. You can now buy them in quantities of 9, 12 and 20 at a time. This is beneficial for the customer as they can customize their order at the time of purchase, and don't have to contact me in advance and then wait. It's also a better price per bath bomb, and a more accurate shipping cost as I already know the weight! Win, win for everyone I think!

I lost a sale once because I was watching a movie and didn't check my email for 2 hours. Someone had contacted me wanting to buy 6 of the same scented bath bomb (where I would need to set them up a custom listing for them to purchase) and after I finally answered their message, I never heard from them again. If shoppers on etsy shop like I do, then it's all about that impulsive purchase. I rarely purchase something on etsy that I had been watching for awhile - usually it's just a thought that pops into my head and a few minutes later the funds are leaving my paypal account. Hopefully by having these custom listings it will help both my customers and myself!

Shark Fin Soap and Wild Aid

Today I made my donation to Wildaid.org to help the fight against shark finning. I donate $1.00 for every "Shark Fin Soap (Not Soup)" I sell, and from sales in 2011 I was able to donate $22.00. It seems pretty small time but any little bit helps!
